.. *groans*.. what a weird week it’s been. I can’t really recall doing anything interesting, because, apart from x-mas.. i don’t think i really *did* anything..(read up on my xmas)

.. i have to hand out a super belated thank you to both tay + shell for their gifts (down the bottom)..

Now i shall have my list of xmas goodies..(i might be missing some.. but.. *shrug*.. i might not):

ff is baaack (merry xmas too)

It appears like friday-five is back.. *oh.. yay </sarcasm>

Friday Five

1. What holiday or holidays do you celebrate this time of year?
Christmas

2. What was the best gift you have ever received?
A loan for some $$ from my mum.

3. What was the worst gift you’ve ever given?
Probably socks (u know how it is!)

4. Where will you be celebrating the holidays? Are you hosting? Going away?
on the eve i’m with Em’s family, on the day, i’m with my aunt at her place.. should be fun (and if not, there should be HEAPS of food!)

5. If you could spend the holidays with someone who isn’t around, who would it be with? Why?
My eldest sister (who’s over in paris).. cos she’s great.. and i miss her.

Nothing like an FF to get you into the x-mas mood!.. and speaking of, got a couple of cute xmas fansign-esque items from Michelle + Steph (in the me section fools)

Lastly, i have to counter-compliment back to the completely wonderful shell (over @ Desert-Rogue) for her lovely comments she made in her entry .. *grins*.. “Nah uh.. YOU’RE Mr. Sexy” *pokes out tongue*

i’m hot + dying

My God.. it’s too hot in Perth atm. Yesturday, today, the next couple of days (you get the picture) it’s forcasted for 39Centigrade maximum temps.. which to all you F ppl out there.. it’s about 102.20 (I know.. freakin’ hot)..

So i’ve been sitting in my room with my lil aircon unit running it’s heart out, i’m feeling.. slightly uncomfortable, but i know for a fact it’s about 200x’s better then how i’d feel if i didn’t have the aircon running. So i’ve been doing things to keep my mind off the boiling heat, and that’s .. listening to Bjork, doing some site updates, doing some office work (from home.. ahhh the leisure!)

Have to hand out a couple of *hearts*.. first goes to echoica.net for the excellent new layout, new hosting, etc etc. It’s all fresh + clean + nice.. excellent work michelle (as always).. Secondly i plug out to a friend of michelle, tayana.. who also has an excellent site (which i shall start digesting regularly (if i can)).. though i must ask, how can i save your link button if i can’t right-click it? (i can’t be fux’d going through my temp internet files (*am lazy*))

I’ve joined another clique/club/ring/fanclub/thingo .. it’s the eXhibitionist ring.. (which i think both the above mentioned michelle + tayana are in.. what a funny coincidence (or is it!))

I’ve also re-did my links page.. so there’s heaps more in there.. and i think for the moment, it’s up-to-date.

Anyway.. lunch TIME!

.. got my results

Got my uni semester results back this morning, and i kicked ass… Makes attending all those lectures seem worthwhile :) ( i even think i pushed my course average up a bit too.. which is completely excellent!)

.. on a side note.. i’ve come to this weird revelation about myself.. that i didn’t really notice before.. (i have michelle to thank for this).. this is, that i do these funny lil *actions* whenever i IM ppl.. It’s funny because it’s not really a conscience thing i do.. it’s kind of a filler thing i just seem to type automatically. .. and whilst thinking about it .. i do realise it is pretty damn weird.. .. i wonder where i picked it up.. i wonder if it’ll ever end? .. it’s like my nail-chewing habit.. i just seem to do it. Not really remembering when it began or why.

How odd we human-beings can be at times.

nothing really to type..

.. i’m sitting here suffering a headache that should have disappeared quite a while back but is persisting. Everytime i bend over or .. move suddenly (or at all really) it flares up and i feel like my brain is rubbing against the inside of my SKULL!….

For us M??lange-ians (Dave, Byron + I).. it is the end of “Jam Week The First”… that is, we had 3 rehersals this week instead of just 2. We were fortunate enough to also have our good friend mike over as well. Which i do want to see more of in the band situation. We need filling out in places, here + there. .. though who knows what i’m saying. I’m only the drummer.

.. i didn’t really have anything else to say.. (in fact, from the beginning i wasn’t really going to say anything at all!).. and what i’ve been TRYING to avoid mentioning is the whole disdained/echoica thing.. but i worry regardless. (though i’ve been reassured not to..)..

i just can’t wait for the tv to flicker back on.. the emergency news-reader suddenly discovering that the asteroid that WAS about to destroy the planet is actually going to miss.. them speaking those oh so warm words.. “we now go back to this evenings regular broadcast.. sorry for the interruption.”

my credit-card shall be the death of me

.. got yet another fansign from the totally adorable Steph… many many thanks + *hugs* hun!.. (clicky)

i must also bring to your attention the tagboard i have *FINALLY* gotten.. (”Yay” i hear you all say .. ).. u can find it by clicking the oh-so not visible “tag” button down the bottom.. i hope you all enjoy it to its .. well.. full potential (whatever the hell that is!)

Also must mention that i picked up Star Wars EP2 for $AU19 today.. which is really good :)

OoO.. i’m going to finish this entry with some plugs.. i’ve come across a couple of sites in the last couple of weeks which i believe should receive full attention (Though they possibly get this already :P.. no harm in passing on thumbs-up + admiration). They all display splendiferously wonderful layouts .. and well.. u get the picture :P

1. Nocturn .. i mean.. her alias is “Trinity”.. she has peircings.. AND also she has Kanji Tatts on her inside wrists.. which is the EXACT same sorta tattoo i want.. it completely freaked me out.. cos i .. thought that i would be the only one .. but she beat me (also the fact that i don’t have any tatts at all doesn’t help)…

2. Find Nirvana .. this site kills 2 birds with 1 stone.. i mean. 2 ppl writing blogs in 1 nicely presented site.. it’s all good.. (i just wish they’d add me to their portal *wink*!)

3. Deja Vu.. whats funny is i had bookmarked this page before, and now it’s different.. and yet still really good :).. This is another one of those oh-so popular site collectives.. i wish i had the massive creativeness required to build one of these.. great site!.

4. chicgeek.. how could i *not* like a site which not only has the words chic.. but also “geek” .. it’s like .. a kebab.. they combine all the good elements in life (lettuce, beef.. pita bread)..this chick is amazingly sexy, and all shall check her out. Her layout i found was small and well controlled, everything within easy reach.. and besides that.. she’s got an eye-brow ring.. *rawr!*

5. no-drama.. what can i saaaay here. Great layout.. at what i believed to be really annoying colours, i’ve found they’ve grown on me.. which is always a good thing… nice site.. check it out.

6. blazin-girl..a layout with a music clef.. teehe. Love it. This site also combines 2 things which i totally adore.. that’s a nice blue background.. and also a grey background?.. 2 for 1 i think.. i look forward to visiting this site more in the future.

as i do with all those other sites *smiles*

i must also naturally pass on my thanks to michelle .. cos i have a feeling i actually found a lot of these sites wandering off various tree-legs of her massively epic site.. love it. *hearts*

.. busy beaching

So.. this has been the first day in a while i’ve just had to sit down.. catch up on sites i visit (plug,plug,plug,plug,plug,plug,plug,plug)

First off the newspress is that the lovely camportal over at 3wishes has been pulled down.. *sigh*.. ahh well..

2nd off the newspress (well.. actually off my lil updates.txt file i keep on the desktop) is that the super-delicious michelle over @ echoica.net has made me a new Link button!.. YAY.. Thanks heaps michelle.. your super-duper *hugs+loves*

alllso.. whilst talking about michelle.. i must pass on my 3rd plug to her in this entry because of her new layout!!!.. it’s purpl-icious!.. and it makes me giddy with excitement (well..as much as is possible i s’pose)…

Last but not least is that i’ve added a new lil section to the me section.. called “I always have on me…”.. plz have a lil’ look-see!

ok ok ok.. i admit…

…that i am slack.. and that all of you guys are wonderful and beautiful.. and have wonderful layouts.. .. i know i should be trying to get something new up here.. but.. i’ve just been SOO busy.. uhm. Going to the beach.

and i’ve got lots more days of beach left too :)

By the end of the summer, i hope to be tanned + toned. (well.. atleast tanned)..

Then what i lack for in layouts, i make up for in just.. well being a sexy beast. (Vanity is strong in this one.. very strong)

everyones re-doing their layouts!

Great, everyone is redoing their layouts except for MOI!.. Why must i be left behind!?.. WHY PIGGY!.. WHYYYY!!!!

I do in fact have a couple of layout ideas in my head, but jees. No way in shit am i going to be getting them off the ground anytime soon :) (hehehe)

Okay, so this entry is only inspired by those new layouts that i’ve seen recently, and BOY, there’s lots of you! –> Michelle (Nice + Yellow + Jolie-Sexy!) , Steph (Also a nice new sexy layout) , Shell (Jeez.. that’s the amazing 3some who all have new layouts.. shell’s new layout is also the sex-bomb..nothing like nipple to get you up in the morning *wink*) , Jamie (MmM.. sexy tatts!) , and last but not least Ali (with her new delicious santa-themed-layout)
