something for kate, 28 days later
well.. on one of those spur of the moment things, i’m off to see Something For Kate tonight at the Lookout with Daev’s girlfriend nic and a mate of hers..
I must admit i’m prettty damn excited. Last time something for kate did some shows here in perth i didn’t know about them.. and then i went to look up when they were coming here, i learnt that they *were* here.. last week.. so this time i’m not missing them
It’s funny, i don’t have any albums.. i don’t know all the songs, but of the songs i’ve heard (and have) i REALLY enjoy them, so i must admit i’m pretty excited about tonight. Besides that i might get to down some piss too (which is always fun.. or so i’ve been told)
In other news saw 28 days later a couple of nights back. Wasn’t expecting much but was very very pleasantly surprised. Excellent movie, really cool cinematography, gives the whole realism of the film a real boost. Also choosing to have no huge-name-actors in it helped, making it feel much more real. Scary shit!
Anyway.. yep.

It’s great to hear 28 Days Later was good. I wanted to see that but was scared it would follow the same pattern as the majority of other movies I’ve gone to see lately. :\
