Voyeur
I think it must be the voyeur in me but I’m totally fascinated by the photos people take of the stuff they carry with them. I don’t really know why. Am I trying to understand just how popular Apple Macbooks and iPods are? Do I just want to reinforce my love of Moleskins? Am I trying to fill in the gaps of the stuff that I carry around with me?
It all started with the Screenshot Tour: Show Us Your Go Bag, which also had a sequel, and then today I stumbled upon the Items We Carry Flickr group!
Ah it’s all too much.

I have 4 IPODs: 2 shuffles (1st gen and 2nd gen), nano and video IPOD. Seriously, it’s like Apple just keeps bringing out something better all the time…faster than you can get sick of the old stuff. I bought the shuffle and 6 months later they come out with the little clip-on shuffle. So I get that and then they come out with the clip-on shuffle in COLOR! I did not buy a third shuffle obviously because that would be too insane. I bought the nano (1st gen) for my car - shortly after that here comes the Nano in color (I again refrained from buying a 2nd Nano)!!! I use the 80GB video IPOD for a home stereo (it sits in a BOSE dock). You can say OMG loser any time now ;) I think I have a full compliment now so I don’t need any more IPODS for now lol
I do not have an Apple computer (I have a Dell laptop) but my boyfriend has MacBook Pro. As pretty as an Apple computer is, I just cannot bring myself to invest the money into buying one because of all the software I would also have to replace. I have everything I need with my PC and no problem getting the things I don’t have. I am 100% comfortable with Windows. I would only switch because the Apple looks cool. That would be silly.
Hehe.. I currently only have 1 iPod Photo. But I think it’s a little silly because it was only another 12 months til they released the iPod Video. Ahhh well. Apple are pretty aggressive at this stuff.
